This is an extremely powerful film and the acting is brilliant, Affleck is incredible in the lead role. The film has a strong balance of editing the past story into the film at any given moment, the filmmaker will only allow you snippets of the past events when he feels you are ready to see them.
This is one of the best drama films I have seen for quite sometime, the gut punch narrative confuses and rewards the viewer. Affleck enters the lead role category with this powerful performance and while the supporting cast is also top notch they can't steal the limelight from him.
This beautiful film deserved the critical awards and it is easily one of the best films of 2016. 05-07-2017.
