Amazing acting from all concerned, especially Cassey Afleck in the lead role. A fantastic script and dead on direction, gives this movie an almost Shakespearin tragedy feel, which is only enhanced by the clever use of a swelling music soundtrack.
Very good American film making. I never knew that Cassey Affleck was such a great actor but this performance really highlights his career and overshadows his brothers. I won't be surprised if he takes home the Oscar on top of all the other awards he's taken so far.
(He did win one, by-the-way.).
