Review of Manchester by the Sea (2016) by Christopher Y — 18 Jun 2017

I have mixed feelings about Manchester by the Sea. I was actually more impressed by the acting around Ben Affleck's brother than his own performance. I doubt Denzel Washington was one of the first people who taught him how to act.

Lucas Hedges was pretty darn good. It was a decent story, but seemed to focus more on details not relevant to it. The film score was noticeably good, though. I mean, if you like that kind of thing.
