Review of Manchester by the Sea (2016) by Josh W — 25 Jul 2017
A nearly perfect depiction of grief. Acting is basically flawless from literally the entire cast. So realistic in some of life's (and death's) ridiculousness I'm at a loss to think of a misstep in the writing, directing, or editing.
A sort-of nonlinear timeline that just works. There is humor in unexpected moments.
