Review of Man with the Screaming Brain (2005) by David M — 02 May 2008
Bruce Campbell worked on all sides the camera on this one, for years, and the result is a fun and quirky little diversion. The plot is a bizarre modern update of the kind of things you'd find in 50's horror movies.
Our main man Bruce brings to his role the same kind of obnoxious-yet-likeable quality that Evil Dead's Ash had--although to a lesser degree of badassnitude. These are the kind of movies I wish we had more of, if only to put into the DVD player late at night for some light entertainment after a busy.
