Review of Man with a Movie Camera (1929) by Joseph C — 20 May 2008
Ok, I really don't understand why people love this film so much. There certainly were more innovative films made at the time, this just captures the marvel of moving images on a screen. Everything that was "experimental" about this film had already been done, largely in France and Germany.
Just because a movie is old and weird, doesn't make it good. This movie was boring and unfocused, I fell asleep.
