Review of Man with a Movie Camera (1929) by Becky S — 20 May 2008
This film is an amazing example of the progression of the use of film in 1920s Soviet cinema. The camera techniques used were revolutionary for the time and the narrative structures are so complex and intertwined.
This is a must for any film-student. Although some people find it boring, considering the time in which it was made the public found it revolutionary.
