Review of Man with a Movie Camera (1929) by Richard M — 19 Feb 2009
Montage film is not really my cup of tea, but I could see easily why this film was a breakthrough in its kind. The clever camera tricks would've wowed audiences back in 1929 but the only thing keeping me going was Michael Nyman.
An absolutely superb score wasted on a mediocre film.
