Review of Man with a Movie Camera (1929) by Eric R — 29 Jun 2009
Its pretty amazing how many cinematic techniques were more or less invented when making this film. The film just explores a city, everything from the construction sites to the barbershops. The editing is fantastic which just blows my mind knowing what it took to edit back then.
Its interesting and definetly responsible for progressing the medium as we know it.
