Review of Man on Wire (2008) by Lee Anne W — 25 Jan 2010
Man on Wire is a wonderous account of the planning, training, and execution of Philippe Petit's tightrope walking across the two world trade center buildings. The film is full of interviews with Petit and his friends that helped to make this happen.
The shots of Petit on the wire are amazing, it's too bad that the project had to be so hush hush it would have been nice to see more footage. Man on Wire also plays like a tribute to the twin towers themselves which were just as beautiful as the event itself.
