Review of Man on Fire (2004) by Katherine P — 02 Jun 2011
Completely Hollywood in that it suggests simple solutions to complex problems. The chemistry between Fanning and Washington is fantastic but it manipulates the audience into believing that there might be something more to the promising beginning but the final act turns into somewhat of a music video.
Visually entertaining editing from Scott, as always, but once again he just can't seem to give us the real meat of the story without some cheese.
