Review of Man on Fire (2004) by Vicente V — 29 Apr 2012
One of the best movies I've ever seen. Forget that one of the main stars (Dakota) is a child, Denzel's and Dakota's chemistry was amazing. I could literally feel Creasy's pain and anguish when he thinks Pita had been killed.
As her bodygaurd, Creasy finds purpose in his life again and in avenging her and eventually saving her, he finds meaning and a noble reason for his death. And who can forget the two best quotes from an awesome movie: "Forgiveness is between them and God.
..My job is to arrange the meeting.", "Creasy's art is death, and he is about to paint his masterpiece.".
