Review of Man on Fire (2004) by Alyson S — 10 Jan 2012
First saw this years ago, but caught it again today midway through and was reminded how much I love it. A guy once told me, âYour sense of revenge is over-developed. I pity the man who messes with your kids.
â? Although some label it as formulaic, predictable, whatever â" sometimes you just want to see the bad guys get it, and get it good, especially when they mess with a child â" âMan on Fireâ? delivers, and with an emotional punch you may not see coming.
Thereâ(TM)s no shame in crying at the end, I do â¦Â every time. âA man can be an artist at anything â¦Â food, whatever. Depends on how good he is at it. Creasyâ(TM)s art is death â¦Â and heâ(TM)s about to paint his masterpiece.
â? â"Christopher Walken as Rayburn.
