Review of Man on Fire (2004) by Kristian O — 03 Jun 2011
Man On Fire is an outstanding action/revenge movie that has the right touch of thrills and revenge. This move has great cinematography, great performances and a fast paced story. The thing that makes Man On Fire different from other action/revenge movies is that when you watch it you can actually see the characters emotions breaking down throughout the movie.
The performances are priceless from the whole main cast. Radha Mitchelll plays Rika Balletto, and every time she is on the screen you can actually sympathize for what her character is being put through.
Man On Fire has to be one of Denzel Washington's best movies. Washington does a great job as the main character John Creasy, showing his characters alcohol problem and showing how dedicated he is to get Lupita Balletto(Fanning)back.
The director Tony Scott has distinguished Man On Fire as one of the better action/revenge movies with making every action scene intense with good cinematography. Man On Fire is a excellent thrill ride for any action movie lover.
