For a suspense film the suspense was severely lacking. With a straightforward premise such as in Man on a Ledge, the details and intricacies are what save the movie from falling into the land of movies-to-watch-if-it's-3AM-and-the-only-other-choice-is-Law-&-Order-reruns.
Unfortunately, as it was unable to hold viewers as captivated as the passersby of New York waiting for the ex-cop to jump, Man on a Ledge fell short of an average film.
