Some great martial arts on display in a rather paint by numbers story of underworld fighting and corruption. The acting and the story aren't why you watch movies like these for anyway. You watch them for the inspired fight sequences which there are several.

Yuen Wo Ping is the master of "wire fu" and this film is no different in that regard, but some otherwise intense fight sequences that don't involve wires elevate this from being a run of the mill martial arts film.
