Review of Man of Steel (2013) by Cooper H — 26 May 2017

First off, these critics are insane. This movie is fantastic, easily the BEST version of Superman on screen. Zod is a fantastic villain and somehow sympathetic, portrayed brilliantly in the film. Cavill's performance as Superman is also fantastic, the action is spectacular, and the story doesn't require much comprehension.

The emotional weight of Man of Steel is well done, even if some of the action could have been dialed down a bit for the sake of those deeper character moments. Regardless, Man of Steel is a fantastic movie, it's the BEST Superman movie ever made, and I hope that the quality is revived in future DCEU attempts.
