Review of Man of Steel (2013) by Montique D — 08 Jan 2019

First 80% of the movie is awesome. I was never a big Supes fan but I gave this a chance and damn, they made Clark interesting. I didn't buy the romance but it is what it is, and the 3rd act action scene just goes on way too long.

I don't have an issue with Zod being killed because there just was no other choice, plus Zod died in Superman 2 as well. This was a solid start in the modern DC pantheon and my goodness, the music was on point.

Solid job getting me to care about a character I wasn't into at all.
