Review of Man Bites Dog (1992) by Miss.gory R — 13 May 2008
It seems to want to make a point about the way in which both filmakers and audience are complicit in the violence depicted on-screen in movies. But it ends up being just as voyeuristic as the films it's supposedly commenting upon, which means that events such as the murder of a young boy and a scene depicting a gang-rape are utterly lacking in taste and downright objectionable.
