Review of Man Bites Dog (1992) by Joshua B — 07 Feb 2010
A fantastic fake-documentary/dark comedy from Belgium. The main character is quite witty and at times very likable. That likability then disappears as he performs a number of heinous crimes. Two warnings about this film: it is violent and there are subtitles.
I think I would've liked this film even more if it were in English (or if I knew French) because I felt like I missed out in some of the subtleties of the dialogue. An interesting story with really good acting.
5/5 stars. (2/7/10).
