I cannot understand why this film has not been more popular with the general audience. Lily James is incredibly engaging as the young Donna. The music and dancing were nonstop generators of joy. "My ;love, my life" was the most moving song--indeed, the most moving scene of any kind--I believe I've ever witnessed in a perforkmance.
I wept when I first saw it. I just now watched it on YouTube for the fourth time, and the tears are still on my cheeks. I recommend this film without reservation.
