"Mamma Mia!" was a great musical, so much fun, really entertaining and really expensive! "Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again" has a lesser budget and it shows! It lacks the big theatrical musical numbers and is full on small dance numbers and ballads and sad songs.

It lacks the energy and the fun of the first one, and is a very sad movie. "Mamma Mia" is this big exciting musical and now the sequel is this sad movie. Its last scene ruined me, such a touching little scene, so beautiful! It deserves all 3 stars I'm giving it just for this last scene.

I was expecting something exciting, fun and full on big dance numbers and instead I'm getting this sad musical. The only good thing about this movie is Colin Firth, the man shines and he's in it for like 5 seconds! Give me more gay Colin Firth roles , he shines in them!
