Review of Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again (2018) by Colin W — 23 Jul 2018

So disappointed in this film! I loved the first one so much I think my expectations were too high! It just left me with a lot of questions and continuity errors for example:

1. Why do none of the younger guys look like how Donna remembered them in the first film?

2. In the first film Donna was surprised when Bill told her he had a boat, but if he already had a boat years ago that she slept on why would she be surprised?

3. If Tanya and Rosie had already met Bill (and Sam very briefly) why did they not acknowledge this at Sophie's wedding?

4. In the first film Donna says 'somebody up there's got it in for me, I bet it's my mother' pointing to the sky. Now to me that means her mother is dead so why does she appear in the second film?

I'm so confused!!!!
