So, while everyone was out enjoying The Dark Knight (which is really what I should have been doing), I decided to oblige my sister and parents and see Mamma Mia. The music is catchy, but if you're already familiar with Abba, then there are really no surprises there.
Other than that, the characters are shallow, the acting is so hokey I wouldn't even know where to begin and the plot...well, there's not much of one. Any plot that does exist exists solely for the purpose of moving us along from one song to the next.
Meryl Streep still looks good and Colin Firth was a lovable character. So yeah. I don't know.
