Review of Mama (2013) by Michael L — 20 Nov 2014
I enjoyed the "winter haze" feel to the entire film. I find that a number of films that are made in British Columbia has this look. That is why the X Files looked so good! I am not sure where they filmed this, but it does have that same near twilight time feel, even in the day time shots. Really adds to the spooky affect.
The woman who plays the rocker/skank girlfriend Anna is really convincing as well. I was very impressed at how well the youngest girl did as a creepy-crawly child. She must have enjoyed doing this!
