I really don't understand some of the hate this movie gets from critics. The writing is absolutely brilliant, and Jason Lee is gold! I love it, especially the extended edition which is 28 minutes longer with alternate scenes and a whole new subplot.
Sure it's not for everyone, but you have to give credit where it's due. Truly one of Kevin Smith's best :).
