Review of Mallrats (1995) by Dan H — 27 Mar 2014
A simple, fun film. It's essentially a slacker super-hero film. Mallrats proves that a film doesn't need fancy sets, or elaborate plots to be great....all it needs is heart, humor, and fun. Weirdly enough, this film wound up defining a certain time in my life: College.
Mallrats may not be one of the best films ever, it's not even Kevin Smith's best film but it's still pretty great and is the perfect film to watch if you want nothing more than a good, memorable time.
