Review of Malignant (2021) by Lumdog — 16 Sep 2021
It's certainly different from James Wan's other films. It has this cheesy B-grade horror slasher feel to it, which I'm sure is intentional. The acting is bad and over-the-top and there are some real wtf moments; but it works if you approach it with that mindset.
It's not particularly scary so Conjuring & Insidious fans may be disappointed, but I enjoyed it for trying to do something different.
