A slow and careful discovery of the passions, desires, loyalties, and cruelty of man. Our protagonist serves as a silent narration of the lives around him as he explores his own coming of age. Well told if perhaps a somewhat leisurely build.
Comes together to a satisfying, well-rounded conclusion.
