Review of Maleficent (2014) by Keegan K — 11 Jan 2015
What an amazing film! It looks so stunning watching it in HD. It is a wonderful reboot of sleeping beauty and it's mixed with a flavor of avatar in terms of the animals and fairies and the magical forest, and of course the beloved story from so long ago.
It's so cool how they added a few little twists to it to make it different. I haven't seen sleeping beauty in years and I was kind of guessing how this movie would turn out. It was not what I thought but it was in a good way.
I especially loved Angelina Jolie's performance and how evil her character was! So good and they also had wonderful fight scenes. Definitely worth watching again in Blu-ray in all it's glory with surroundsound.
