Review of Maleficent (2014) by Brian G — 20 Apr 2015
This is sadly the kind of film where everyone involved realized it just wasn't working and tried to scrap together what they could to save it . I feel like Angelina Jolie is a great choice for this role, but what they try and do with the Maleficent character just doesn't work.
A straight up remake of Sleepy Beauty may have been a better choice by the film makers.
