Review of Major League (1989) by Francisca M — 15 Jun 2012
I've seen portions of this film over the years but never sat through it. I finally did and enjoyed it. I adore Tom Berenger and Charlie Sheen (yes, his early years). That being said, he delivered the best scene towards the end and a few notables throughout.
Then there's Dennis Haysbert as Pedro. Hell yes. Loved it. He was fabulous with his interactions with Chelcie Ross. I think I enjoyed all the characters (Vaughn the most). If you're an Indians fan, then you should have watched this.
It may not be the greatest baseball movie out there and it may have cliches but it's funny and enjoyable. Everything gets wrapped up well and we're entertained through out. Good film.
