Review of Mai Mai Miracle (2009) by Marco F — 11 May 2014

I'm not sure what to think. Some of the things that happened left a bitter taste in my opinion. Surely it's a feel good movie and suitable for kids, but I think I'd let my children watch something more inspiring.

Also story wise this movie is a problem. The first part is a wonderful coming of age story and tells of nice adventures kids have. The second part (in the past) doesn't make much sense and doesn't fit in the movie. Especially as only very late it's clear where the story took those characters the second part feels like an entirely different movie.

The soundtrack is pretty repetitive, as well.

Animation top notch, though. Voice acting, as well.
