Review of Magnolia (1999) by Brandon R — 05 Dec 2011
I can only describe Magnolia as a collage of various stories interwoven by similar themes. Writer/director Paul Thomas Anderson has a knack for surreal and cerebral screenplays that prove to be lengthy, yet rewarding experiences.
Magnolia boasts this, as well as an ensemble cast that deliver performances that strongly resonate with the viewer. Overall Magnolia is an art piece that is definitely worth checking out.
