Review of Magnolia (1999) by John B — 13 Jan 2012
Magnolia is vast in scope and extremely long, but you wouldn't think so watching it; Paul Thomas Anderson creates a delicately balanced group of extremely human stories that manage to play out both independently and in perfect unison or counterpoint to each-other, resulting in an extremely satisfying, yet emotionally exhausting piece of art.
