This, to me, is a flawless movie. Nuanced, edgy, hilarious, tear-jerking, stylish, thought-provoking, ambitious, heart-felt - all the ingredients in all the right places. It really is magical. Furthermore, the all-star cast deliver some of their best performances.
This was a truly understated gem buried under the enormous flurry of other great movies of its time such as Green Mile, the Insider, American Beauty, the Matrix, The Sixth Sense, Fight Club, and Being John Malkovich.
