Soderbergh's films succeed through great insight into the lives of the interesting characters in his films... The problem with Magic Mike is there are no characters of any merit what so ever. I really hoped for more but found this a rather boring and empty with a host of empty characters.
.. Beautiful, good dancing empty characters. Disappointing. This could have been so much more with better casting of The Kid and his sister. (They were that uninspiring I can't even remember their names.
).
