I honestly loved and adored almost everything about this, the style and direction were on point. The reason its almost is that Alex Pettyfer and Cody Horn, playing the 2nd lead and the love interest respectively, give 2 of the worst film performances of all time by actors in a great movie.
They have absolutely no clue what they are doing.
