What a dud! This film is so plot-less that at times looking through my study room window seemed more interesting. The writing in it is at times so incoherent and aimless that I felt almost dumber about the world after I seen the film.

So where's the appeal? Male stripping you say, well I suppose it's a world that is rarely shown in film, and that can be point of interest, but it never rises about the surface. The romantic story elements and the change that Mike goes through feel tacked on, and are not nearly as deep and profound as I would have like.

As far as the direction is concerned, Soderbergh phoned it in, this could have been done by literally anyone like this. No tangent style or substance this is a film to be avoided. Not recommended.
