Review of Magic in the Moonlight (2014) by Tim F — 16 Aug 2014

Colin Firth and Emma Stone are the best reasons to see this film. I also liked the twist and the ending. Other than that, the film was so so. This is not Woody's best. I thought To Rome With Love and Midnight in Paris were better than this. I felt like I have seen this type of film before and done better than here. The pacing was off.

Firth and Stone shine here. They have a great on screen chemistry. Simon McBurney was also good here.

I would say, see it for Firth and Stone.
