Review of Magic (1978) by Sarah H — 13 Jul 2007
The Twilight Zone, Goosebumps, and Poltergeist gave me the horrible fear of clowns/ventriloquist dummies. Magic, however, lightened my fear. The doll was creepy, notheless, but it wasn't frightening.
Hopkins is king, of course, and his maddness has to be the scariest thing in the movie, not the doll. A great descent into madness movie, and always a fun view.
