Review of Maggie (2015) by Kim A — 20 Aug 2015
Maggie takes the zombie following in a different direction. It takes you on a personal journey of a family suffering the effects of a love one being bitten. It doesn't say much in words but the visual given says it all.
The washed out colors set the mood of misery and despair. While more could have been done, it certainly took the over used stereo types of what a zombie film should be and what it can be. It can be more than a film of blood and guts.
It can be an emotional story. While many films touch on that subject of an infected loved one, this one takes it a step further. It takes you and really digs into the true reality of the situation.
