Review of Madea's Big Happy Family (2011) by Frank S — 30 Apr 2011

I saw Madea's Big Happy Family over the weekend, and I enjoyed it very much. This is perhaps my favorite of all of the Madea's film to date. This film had a great blend of comedy, drama, and heart. I enjoyed Loretta Devine was wonderful of the matriarch of a family who tried to get the bickering family together to tell them that she had cancer. I also liked Cassi Davis' performance as Aunt Bam. She was amusing. Of course, Tyler Perry as Madea was hilarious. I also enjoyed the character of Mr. Brown. He's simply hysterical.

Overall, I really liked this movie and recommend everyone to see it.

I give this film a grade of an A-.
