''we come from a long line of ATHOLES!'.

A guy in love with an engaged woman tries to win her over after she asks him to be her maid of honor.

Patrick Dempsey: Tom.

Michelle Monaghan: Hannah.

When critics moan about dreary, uninspired, conventional, predictable rom-com's, Made of Honor is effectively the film they speak of. Admittedly a difficult genre to keep fresh and original, Made of Honor doesn't even try for originality. Why come up with something innovative when you can plagiarize older better and rehearsed done before scripts?

The screenwriters are hoping that 11 years is long enough for audiences to have forgotten that there was ever a film titled My Best Friend?s Wedding. It's not. If I were to tell you that, unlike the superior and startlingly unconventional ending of the aforementioned film, Made of Honor ends exactly as you know it will, would you really be all that surprised? From the first moment we see Tom and Hannah together, there is no doubt that they will get together. This predictable film doesn't even try to pretend it's going to be any other way.

Hollywood-ised but it's that kind of film.

Michelle Monaghan, Patrick Dempsey(Grey's Anatomy :P! McDreamy!), Kevin Mckidd all perform their said parts well accompanied by songs reflective of a romantic comedy flick. Even accumulating in a trip to Scotland for a wedding that must be stopped.

Made Of Honor is another for the pile of Chick Flicks which does it's job.
