Refreshing considering it's a romantic comedy told pretty much completely from the man's perspective - and he's actually likeable and not a complete jerk like they usually are. He doesn't undergo a massive change other than to actually accept to himself that he wants the woman of his dreams.

As a film it was relatively entertaining although not as funny as it could have been (I think Bridesmaids took the Maid of Honour approach to a whole new level). To be honest the main reason it looses two stars is that the only humour they really get out of him being a male maid of honour is having everyone assume he's gay - which is the only part of the film that's offensive and outrageous (and not in the good Bridesmaids way).
