Review of Made (2001) by Jason L — 09 Dec 2007

Ok why do I love this movie? Because it's basically "Swingers" however you hate Vince Vaughn in this movie, I mean he is just irratating, you want to just pummel him. In "Swingers" he is smooth not in this movie. Also when this movie came out I was going through a 'dark" period of my life, I went to the Camelview 5 in Scottsdale, AZ, yeah the theater was really musty smelling but I just laughed my butt off, this movie is obscene it is not for families, however I just laugh especially at how Vince, just cheeses everyone off. Peter Folk reminds me of my Dad, when I showed this flick to my Dad he laughed one of the few films I've actually watched with my Dad when it came out on DVD. There are quotable lines (Because you lost my carpet cleaning van and I don't like you") ("Sold the van, stole the van what's the difference I think Maxie knows").

This is Jon Favreau's first directorial effort he followed this up with "Elf" and then the jumanji sequel which I can't remember & in 2008 he is coming out with IRON MAN.
