Review of Mad Max 2 (1981) by Chris J — 13 Sep 2010
Disproving the myth that sequels are never better than their predecessors, Mad Max 2 (or the Road Warrior here in North America), is a groundbreaking trend setting apoclyptic masterpiece . Gibson's Max is more the Man with No Name here than in the original and the action scenes are jaw dropping.
The stuntmen were insane in this picture. Quotable, funny, violent and mythic. The best of the series hands down.
