Review of Mad Max 2 (1981) by Dann M — 06 Feb 2012
In the post-apocalyptic ash, a Road Warrior emerged to protect the innocent. In this continuation of Max Mad, the character is rebooted as a lone warrior traveling the roads and fighting off gangs. Once again this is mainly an exploitation film about car chase and violence; and what worked in the first film works again here.
With a more streamlined story and better action scenes, The Road Warrior exceeds its predecessor and delivers a high octane action/adventure.
