Review of Mad Max 2 (1981) by Stewart F — 17 Dec 2017
A film that even compared to its bigger-budgeted, contemporary brother Fury Road, still packs a wallop. Its grit on grit in an unforgiving world filled with thrilling violence, brutal savagery, and more character and style than you could shake a sawed-off shotgun at.
Gibson and company run this mad world but the real hero of the film is Miller and his grasp on the directing. A classic through and through.
