Review of Mad Max (1979) by Alasdair B — 03 Nov 2014
Mel Gibson is one of those actors who does better when he keeps his mouth shut. It's not that he's a bad actor, he just over does it. This is one of those super cool 70's action films that really kick started the car chase action movies genre. I can tell where Fast and Furious series got their inspiration.
"Mad Max'' takes place in the dystopian future in Australia. Max is a cop of sorts. A peace keeper. A gang roles into town causing trouble and it's up to Max to stop them.
I can't really review this film because I didn't understand allot of the things in it. Namely the plot. The reason it's good is because of is amazing car chases and action scenes. They are fantastic.
